Hi! Welcome to the blog breakdown for this episode of Hope For The Best, the worst cooking show on the internet. If you like sushi, you’re going to loooove this recipe. Watch me make it on IGTV, if you haven’t already. This dish is amazing because it’s cost effective, restaurant quality, and it will WOW your guests! Im not going to do the whole long blogging thing where you have to hear about my long walks in the forrest, and you have to scroll for hours (lol). I’m just going to deliver the recipe:
Ingredients:
2 pounds of fresh sushi grade salmon (sashimi)
1/2 cup soya sauce
3/4 cup chopped green onion
2 tbl spoon sesame oil
1 tbl spoon crushed dried red chilli peppers
3 tbl spoon salmon caviar (salmon roe)
6 roasted seaweed sheets
1/4 cup sesame seeds
Method:
Cube the salmon in 1/2 inch cubes, add to a bowl. Add soya sauce, sesame oil, green onion, chilli peppers and caviar, mix well. Cover with saran, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Prepare 2 cups of white rice. Use a pizza cutter to slice the seaweed sheets into 4 pieces. Top seaweed sheets with a spoonful of rice and a generous helping of the poke mixture. Fold like a taco, and enjoy! Voila, it’s that easy. Leave a comment below, tell me if you would try this recipe :) Thank you!
